To be honest Nepal deserves much more than 15 days. However if you don’t have more time available, this article is for you.
Like we said before Nepal is known for its big chaotic cities, beautiful temples, green landscapes, endless waterfalls and for the Himalayas.
In short, it is a country that offers everything.
Even though people tend to confuse Nepalese cultures with Indians, we can tell you that, they have quite a few differences. Yes, they do share the same religion, but Nepal is still a very genuine country.
So in this article we will explain what you can see and do in Nepal for 15 days.

1. 15 DAYS ITINERARY
DAY 1 – ARRIVING TO POKHARA
We decided to start this itinerary in Pokhara, since we start from this city. Even though you have a flight to Kathmandu, you can pick-up a bus to Pokhara OR another flight.
Like we said before Pokhara was one of our favorite places in Nepal. This city has one incredible vibe! Here you can relax before or after the trekking.
DAY 2 – 3 EXPLORE POKHARA
You need 2 full days to explore this Nepal gem. Read our article WHAT TO DO IN POKHARA? to get some ideas of exploring!
DAY 4 – 10 TREKKING TO ANNAPURNA BASE CAMP
Here is the place that you will spend most of your days. You can choose for a smaller trekking, however WE DO recommend you to do this one.

DAY 11 – POKHARA
Just relax!!! After the trekking you will need it! Take an opportunity to do some massage in one of the Spa’s in the city.
DAY 12 – 14 KATHMANDU
The night between the 11th and 12th day pick-up the night bus to Kathmandu OR in morning of the 12th day pick-up a early flight to the capital.
To sightseeing Kathmandu you will need 2 full days.

2. TIPS ABOUT NEPAL
Best season to visit Nepal is between October and December. It’s when the skies are more clear.
January and February are the coldest months, especially at night. However the landscapes are the best since the mountains are covered with snow. It’s also quieter for the trekking as there are fewer visitors.
May is the warmest month of the year. The heat and humidity arrives until rainy season.
The rainy season is between mid-June until the end of August.
The currency is Nepalese Rupee NPR, 1,00€ is approx. 124,378.17 NPR.
The best SIM card is Nepal Telecom or NTC. The SIM Card costs NPR 200 (approx. €2,00) + 5 GB Data is NPR 350 (approx. €2,80).

Remember, we made this journey in low-budget, the below amounts are the totals that we expended in 15 days for 2 people (not included flights).
Accommodation in Pokhara and Kathmandu: € 78,00
Food, Transport and Miscellaneous: € 136,48
ABC Trekking (includes TIMS, accommodation, food and transport): € 302,74
Extras (entrances fees for waterfall, cave, etc): € 5,70
VISAS: € 50,00
TOTAL = €572,92 (average per person per day €17,50)
